Origin/meaning
The pine tree is a canting element and refers to the pine tree planted by Charles III for his wife at his wedding. The village developed around the tree and took the name Le Pin.
The chief shows the double eagle of the arms of the Montzaigle family, lords of the surrounding villages which were later added to the municipality. The strawberries refer to the local strawberry cultivation.
