| Spanish | Escudo partido: 1º, las armas de la Puente, con puente y encima torre de dos cuerpos y bajo el arco del puente, ondas con cabeza barbuda flotando; 2º, terciado en faja, a) las cinco panelas de Salcedo en sotuer, b) las armas de Mendoza en sotuer, en primero y cuarto cotiza a falta de la banda característica y en segundo y tercero respectivamente las iniciales A.M. y G.P., del AVE MARIA y GRATIA PLENA de los escudos de los Mendoza, y c) las armas de Zuñiga, con banda orlada de cadena de eslabones. En la orla general del escudo se lee el lema “Por pasar la puente ponerme a la muerte”. |
