The arms were officially adopted in 2021.
The maritime pine refers to the municipal forest, the mitre and the fleur-de-lis are taken from the arms of the Saintonge region.
The wavy chief symbolizes the Meudon river in the municipality and the three chevrons, the three mountains in the municicipality.
