Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 23, 2016.
The bunches of grapes represent the viticultural richness of the area.
The deer represents the rich wildlife of the area, the fauna and the agrotourism projects.
The tower symbolizes the monuments of local architecture - the Roman camp, the Dacian buildings, the medieval castles.
The flames represent the richness of the subsoil in methane gas reserves.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
