EBEN AM ACHENSEE
State : Tirol
District : Schwaz
Official blazon
In einer schwarzen, von blauen Feldern begleiteten aufrechten Spitze ein silbernes Notburga-Kandele.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 6, 1972.
The box or bag (?, Kandele in German) is the symbol of the local patron saint, St. Notburga. St. Notburga lived a long part of her life in Eben.
The black point and the blue field refer to the mountains surrounding the village and the Achensee Lake.
