Origin/meaning

The first and fourth quarter show a tree, a symbol for the cultivation of fruit trees in the area. The other two quarters show the arms of two families that ruled the village; the sun from the Bellamy and the wings from the De Saint Michel family.

The chief shows the cross of Savoy.
