Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 14, 1969.

The tree branch is taken from the arms of the Tannberg family, who in medieval times had several possessions in the area. The rose refers to the fact that the village has several times received the award of 'most beautiful village in Oberösterreich'.

Literature : Baumert, H.E. : Oberösterreichische Gemeindewappen, Linz, 1996.
