Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 3, 1970.
The arms show the head of an ibex, symbol for the Walser community, a group of villages in the area. The mountain in the base symbolises the high (932 m) altitude of Bürserberg. Literature : Burmeister, 1975
