History: Formed at Hammersley Hayes, Cheadle, Staffordshire December 1, 1952.
Official blazon
Badge: In front of two flashes in saltire a terrestial globe ensigned by an eagle's head issuant from the battlements of a tower.
Motto: Qui custodit = Who guards
Origin/meaning
The Globe is divided to symbolise Day and Night operations. The Eagle's Head issuant from a Tower symbolises watchfulness both here and abroad. The badge was granted in November 1955.
