History: Raised at Castle Bromwich in May 1916.
Official blazon
A lion rampant azure semee de lys Or.
Motto: Audax omnia perpeti.
Origin/meaning
During World War I, the Squadron served in Belgium represented by the Lion and in France represented by the Fleur de Lys. The Motto translates by "Bold to endure anything". The badge was granted in november 1936.
