German | In einem blauen Schilde erhebt sich hinter einem nach rechts ansteigenden Rasenboden – zur Linken durch eine Wasserfläche in Form eines Ständers getrennt – ein unten beraster, oben bewaldeter Berg, hinter dem am rechten Schildesrande ein weiterer, durchwegs beraster Berg zu sehen ist. Auf dem Rasenboden steht am rechten Endpunkte der Wasserfläche eine hohe Tanne. |

Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 12, 1930.
The arms are based on the 19th century seal, which showed the local area; a green field with a pine tree in front of the Hittisberg mountain. Even though there has been a lot of discussion to change the arms to a more heraldic design, this has not (yet) happened.
