QUÉANT

Département : Pas-de-Calais

Queant.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were proposed in 1996. I have no idea whether the municipality has adopted the arms.

The arms are identical to the arms of the Quéant family (later Despretz de Quéant), first mentioned in 1113. The family held the estate until 1793.
