English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on March 5, 1954.
The cross and the crown refer to Duke Henry II of Lorraine, who founded the village and gave it his name. The cross also refers to the local church, devoted to the Holy Cross. The red mountain refers to the red-grey rocks in the region.
