Escudo de vermelho, uma planta de arroz, de ouro, nascente de um pé de água ondado de prata e azul e acompanhado de duas garças boieiras de prata, a da dextra volviva em cortesia. Coroa mural de três torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: " BROGUEIRA ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 23, 1994.
The heron and the rice refer to the Boquilobo wetland area, known for its rich birdlife and the cultivation of rice. The base refers to the Almonda river.
