History: First formed in 1936.
English | White; in front of a roundel gyronny blue and white a demi-Lynx erased gold, armed and langued red. Motto: Cave ungues felis |
Origin/meaning
The Roundel symbolises the Rotor Blades of a Helicopter, the Demi-Lynx symbolises the Lynx Helicopter which equips the Squadron which serves as Lynx HQ and Training Squadron. The Motto translates as "Beware the cat's paw". The Badge was approved in 1978.
