CALLDETENES
Region : Catalonia
Province : Barcelona
Catalan | Escut caironat: d'argent, 3 peres de sinople, posades 2.1. Per timbre una corona mural de poble. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 1, 1983.
Canting arms: they show three "peres" (Catalan for "pears"), that refer to the ancient name of the village, Sant Martí de Riudeperes, and at the same time they are the arms of the Riudeperes family, landlords of Calldetenes.
