Spanish Escudo cortado. Primero, de plata, dos rocas en su color sobre ondas de azur y plata. Segundo, de azur, tres haces oro bien ordenados. Al timbre, corona real abierta.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 25, 1968.

The two rocks are the so called rocky "towers of Fasnia", the three sheaves are symbolizing the importance of agriculture based on grain and three is the number of the villages in the municipality.
