VP-26 TRIDENTS, US NAVY
History: Formed as VB-114 on 26 August 1943, VPB-114: 1 October 1944–15 May 1946, VP-114: 15 May 1946–15 November 1946, VP-HL-6: 15 November 1946-1 September 1948 and from 1 September 1948 VP-26, which was the third use of that designation.
Homeport: NAS Jacksonville, Florida
