944TH MEDICAL SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 944 Tactical Dispensary, and activated, on 28 December 1962. Organized in the Reserve on 17 January 1963. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 25 March 1968. Redesignated as 944 Tactical Clinic on 12 November 1986. Activated in the Reserve on 1 July 1987. Redesignated as: 944 Tactical Hospital on 1 October 1989; 944 Medical Squadron on 1 November 1990.
