Arms (crest) of Siesikai
Official blazon
Lithuanian blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 28, 1998.

The charge comes from the arms of ducal Daumantas-Siesickis house. Siesikai was the home of those local dukes until the early 17th century. The hippocentaur is the arms of a few ancient noble houses of Lithuania, and it originates most likely from the Byzantine-Russian culture, which had certain influence to Lithuanian culture before converting to Catholic in 1386.
