Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.
The rooster is a typical part of the local folklore dresses.
The lyre represents the secular continuity of the song on these lands; "Monumentul Cântecului", a marble sculpture, represents the homage paid to all the beads.
The tree represents the tree of life, the symbol of continuity and permanence in these lands.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
