History : Formed at Doncaster in November 1938

In from of an arrow the point uppermost in bend Or a rose argent.
Motto : Nulla rosa sine spina = No rose without a thorn.
Origin/meaning
The Rose symbolises Yorkshire and the Arrow speed. The Motto alludes to the Rose of the badge. The later was approved in June 1941.
