HMS FLORIZEL, ROYAL NAVY
English | Blue: a cross crosslet flory gold. |
Origin/meaning
The Handsome Prince of Bohemia in Shakespear's THe Winter's Tale is called Florizel. Another origin is from Heraldry "flory" meaning ardoned with fleur-de-lys. The badge was approved in 1945.
