HMS CRYSTAL, ROYAL NAVY

History: a Floating Laboratory at Postland, Dorset used for Experimental Work on Underwater Weapons.

Origin/meaning

Originates from the Greek Word Krystallos meaning Clear Ice. The badge was approved on 14 July 1945.
