BĂLUȘENI
District/county (județ) : Botoșani
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 27, 2012.
The winged cross symbolizes the Zosin monastery. The basket (cos) represents the village of Coșuleni, which belongs to the municipality.
The silver field at the top of the shield alludes to the name of the commune, "alb" = "bialo" (Slavonic language).
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
