GORUIA

District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin

Stema Goruia

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.

The trefoil cross, the dove and the book are symbols that can be found in the presentation of the Etymosis from the scene "The Last Judgment", Orthodoxy being significant for this commune.

The mill with pallets represents Moara Andrieșilor, a certified historical monument of the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
