District/county (județ) : Brașov
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 20, 2013.
The upper half refers to the traditional hydraulically operated timber working installations, one of them being functional in the village of Copăcel.
Fir trees and deer head represent the forest and hunting richness of the area, and the number of fir trees indicates the number of component villages of the municipality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
