POGĂCEAUA

Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu de argint cu împletitură albastră. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află două capete de bovideu de aur. În vârful scutului, în câmp auriu, se află o turtă (pogace) roșie. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 21, 2013.
The heads of the calf represent the tradition of animal husbandry and animal fairs in the commune. The silver bar with blue braid represents the Pogăceaua fishing lake and the braiding tradition, of notoriety in the area.
The gold base represents cereal fields and one of the occupations of the inhabitants - agriculture.
The round cake (pogăceaua) that gives the name of the locality reminds of the tradition of milling and baking.
The silver mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
