ERBICENI
District/county (județ) : Iași
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 30, 2007.
The eagle signifies the coat of arms of the Cantacuzino family, which built a mansion and 3 churches in the area, in the villages of Erbiceni, Bârlești and Totoiești.
Wheat ears symbolize the richness of the earth.
The green field represents the presence of pastures in this settlement, hence the name Erbiceni.
The plow shows the traditional occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
