MĂDĂRAȘ

District/county (județ) : Mureș

Stema Mădăraș

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 20, 2008.

The ear of wheat signifies the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture.

The pigeon refers to the name of the locality, which comes from the Hungarian language Mezomadaras.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
