Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În șef, în câmp roșu, se află trei flori ale soarelui, ușor întoarse spre stânga. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află bustul unui personaj feminin de argint, cu văl pe cap și o mantie peste veșmânt, ce poartă pe piept o cruce, având în mâna dreaptă o cruce, iar în cea stângă un pergament desfășurat. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 1, 2014.
The three sunflowers represent the preponderant activity of Saraiu commune, the cultivation of the land, and indicate the number of component villages of the locality.
The bust of the female character symbolizes the Holy Pious Parascheva, the patron saint of the commune, honored by all the inhabitants on October 14, the day of Saraiu commune.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
