MĂIERUȘ
District/county (județ) : Brașov
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 28, 2010.
The hazelnut is found in the seal of the commune from 1791. The wavy sign - the letter N - represents the former legal mark of the commune of Măieruș, coming from the old name of the locality Nussbach.
The bears symbolize the rich wildlife of the area, and the number of bears means the number of villages that make up the commune.
The top of the shield cut by a wavy line represents the Olt river that crosses the locality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
