Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1988.
The arms show a pine tree as a symbol of the mighty pine forests for which Beiarn has historically been well-known.Literature: Norwegian Municipal Network and Norske Kommunevåpen, Kommunalforlaget, 1987.
