Escudo de ouro, com um navio fenício de vermelho, aparelhado e vestido do mesmo, com seis remos e um leme de ouro, navegante sobre campanha de burelas ondeadas de verde e prata; em chefe, um mundo sobrepujado de uma cruz, tudo de púrpura. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ ÍLHAVO – S. SALVADOR “.
