Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află o carte de argint, flancată dreapta-stânga de câte o frunză de aur. În vârful scutului, în câmp roșu, se află două spice de grâu, încrucișate, de aur, având deasupra o cruce de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 21, 2011.
Oak leaves signify the forest richness of the area, and wheat ears symbolize the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture.
The book represents the circulation of old Romanian books in the Cermei area.
The cross symbolizes the existence of a parish since the Middle Ages.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
