Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 2, 1993.

The arms show the image of St. Mary with Jesus, the patron saints of the city. The composition already appeared on the 15th century seal of the city.

The previous arms were officially granted on April 16, 1845 in different colours.
