ENNEY

Canton: Fribourg
Incorporated into: 2004 Bas-Intyamon

Armoiries de Enney
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show three fir trees, the meaning thereof I don't know. In the 1990s the arms were changed to white trees on a white hill, to avoid confusion with the arms of La Joux. The white colour symbolises snow as a canting element (Enny or 'en neige', with snow).
