ROHRBACH-STEINBERG
State : Steiermark
District :Graz-Umgebung
Incorporated into : Hitzendorf
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 8, 1989.
The arms contain allusions to the history of the village. The Ger (trident) is taken from the arms of the Steinberger, a family owning land here in the Middle Ages. The two bends composed of roses were taken from another family of squires, the Ehrenfelser, who bore a simple bend. The roses were included to represent the Rosary Chapel Maria vom Siege.
