Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 4, 1983.

The arms are composed of the arms of former landowners (fess embattled, battle-axes) with one exception. The staff is the symbol of St James, the Apostle. A church has been dedicated to him from the 13th century on at Enzelsdorf.
