I svart et gull ankerkors.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 23, 1990.
The arms show an anchor cross as a symbol for both Christianity and the importance of the local harbour. The economy of Torsken is largely dependent on its harbour and an anchor would be an appropriate symbol.
