Livgardet
Official blazon
I blått fält lilla riksvapnet, tre öppna kronor av guld, ställda två och en. Skölden lagd över en musköt korsad med en kavallerivärja, båda av silver samt omgiven av serafimerordenskedja av guld, lagd under krona, musköt och värja.
(Azure, the Swedish lesser coat-of-arms, three open crowns or palce two and one. The shield surmounting a musket bendwise and a rapier bendwise sinister, both argent and encirceled by the chain of the Order of the Seraphim,placed beneath crown, musket and rapier)
Origin/meaning
The lesser Coat-of-Arms of Sweden is used by Guards Units. The Musket symbolises the Infantry Heritage of the Livgardet and the Rapier the Cavalry Heritage.
