Official blazon

Arms: Argent, on a chevron per pale azure and gules six martlets Or, between in chief two Saxon- crowns and in base a dolphin naiant sable.
Crest: On a wreath argent and gules, Two dolphins embowed, heads downwards, enfiled by a Saxon crown Or.
Supporters: On either side a pelican in her piety proper standing upon a book gules, edged Or, each supporting a staff also proper, that on the dexter flying a banner of the second charged with a lion passant guardant gold dimidiating the hull of an ancient ship argent, and that on the sinister flying a banner of the second charged with a stag's head caboshed silver.
Motto: Be still and know.

The arms were officially granted on March 15, 1962.
