Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 4, 1987.
The orb or mound royal is the attribute of St. Saviour, the local patron saint. The star above is a traditional sign of the village. The colours of the arms, black and gold, are derived from the arms of the Anglesola family, remembering that Golmés belonged to the barony of Bellpuig, ruled by the Anglesolas.
