Origin/meaning

The Archbishop used two shields, one with the arms of the diocese and one with his personal arms, which he already used as auxiliary bishop. These show in the upper haf a breadbasket and fish, symbols for the Holy Eucharist. The three fish in the lower half refer to the Holy Trinity.
