Official blazon
- (1971) En silverspets i rött fält med en chef av silver, belagd med tre röda rosor.
- (1946) Delad av silver, vari en bjälkvis ställd grön ekkvist med två blad och två ollon, och grönt, vari en fisk av silver med röd beväring.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1916 to Djursholm (see there) and taken by the new Danderyd municipality in 1971.
The previous arms were granted in 1946:
The Oak Branch symbolises the Oaks in the Area and the fish is from the Seal of Danderyds Skeppslag.
