  • (fr) D'azur à la vache d'argent, accompagnée en chef à dextre de trois besants d'or ordonnés 2 et 1 et à senestre d'une clef d'argent posée en fasce, le panneton à senestre et vers la pointe; à la champagne écartelée en sautoir au 1er d'argent, aux 2e et 3e de sinople, au 4e de sable et à la lettre capitale L d'or brochant en coeur sur l'écartelé.

Origin/meaning

The cow illustrates the agricultural activity of the place. The golden balls are the symbol of Saint Nicolas and the key is the symbol of Saint Guérin. The base symbolizes the former lake, the peat bog and the surrounding forests. The L is the initial of the town.
