Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 8, 1994.

The village Poproč was known as the royal mining settlement since the 13^th century. The arms are known since 1783. In the red shield are two crossed golden mining hammers (ripping and beating) with silver handles, bound with a golden ribbon. In the bottom of the shield is placed a golden star with six points. It's meaning is not known.
