BOUSTROFF
Origin/meaningThe two stones are taken from the arms of the Cathedral Chapter of Metz, to which the village historically belonged. The crosier refers to the St. Avold abbey, which had several possessions in the municipality. The deer head with the cross is the symbol of St. Hubertus, the local patron saint.
