Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 2000.

The arms show the (former) local patron saint, St. Martin, and his attribute the goose. The wreath is taken from the arms of the Nałęcz family, former rulers of the area.

A second proposal was made in 2000, showing a stork (the old village symbol) in the Nałęcz wreath, see below.
