Incorporated into : 2015 Gnas
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 27th, 1995.
The name of the municipality is very old. Radisch derives from old Slavic radu-, meaning gladly, readily, and implying a busy way.
The oxen was the arms of a local family of the Middle Ages, the Auers (Auerochs). It was put on the shield together with a pale, symbolising the medieval way, and with the leaves of the Great Burnet (Wiesenknopf Sanguisorba officinalis), a plant growing near brooks and rivers.
